Meet Cathy from Greyhound Friends in Hopkinton, MA, because she’s who we’re going to help first.
Cathy is trying SO hard to bring adorable, deserving pups to warm, loving forever homes, but she’s really up against it, between racing ending in so many places, and all the stuff going on in the world…but Cathy won’t quit. And what’s more, she’s dedicated to SEEKING OUT hounds who need homes.
Do you know the story of The Giving Tree? This beautiful story inspired me figure out how we’re going to help greyhounds now, and into the future.
Basically, there’s this tree, who finds many ways to nurture the boy who lives nearby. As the child grows up, the tree offers branches to climb, apples to sell, and wood to build a home. At the end, the tree, who’s down to just a stump, is sad, because she can’t find another way to help. But, here’s what happens:

I am very tired.”

For every GIVING TEE I sell, I’m making a donation to keep greyhound adoption happening, starting with Greyhound Friends in Hopkinton, MA…and it’s going to be a SIGNIFICANT donation, not just two bucks or ten percent …so don’t think buying just one shirt won’t make a difference, it will make ALL the difference.
My original design features artwork that captures the magic between pet greyhounds and their beloved owners, plus the message “Support Greyhound Adoption.“
For the guys, anyone who simply prefers a simpler design, I also made this less frilly one.
I’ve tried to make the most attractive shirt possible, because I want people to ask you about your shirt, and then you’re helping EVEN MORE greyhounds, by telling others how they can get a Giving Tee of their own.
If the first campaign is successful, I’ll repeat it to support greyhound adoption in the U.K. AND Australia, because I know many of you are from those areas.

If you can’t afford to donate by buying a tee, you can help for absolutely free by posting this video or links for the Giving Tee to anyone you know who cares about greyhound adoption- your social media, Facebook, Reddit, dog forums, Instagram, anyplace you can get the word out to greyhound lovers who might be able to help. By being a force multiplier for greyhounds, you will see huge results!
