How to Adjust a Greyhound’s Martingale Collar

This pretty pose is really a bid for my sandwich

It’s easy to adjust your greyhound’s martingale collar, when you know how, and why it’s so important.

I didn’t really know how to do this, until I read a great article by Ellie Goldstein. Now, it’s a snap!

To correctly adjust your greyhound’s martingale collar, follow these easy steps:

  1. Slip it onto your dog’s neck, and pull firmly upward.

2. The 2 metal rectangles should be 1″ to 1 1/2″ apart.

3. If they are less than that, feed some of the slack collar INTO the adjusting clip.
